Glastonbury 2011
Glastonbury 2011
Another successful Glastonbury Festival for Creative Recycling, we had a great time. We had a few wobbly moments, rain, mud papier mache and brilliant white paintwork don’t mix that well, but the sun came out and the sloppy, slimy mud disappeared. Loads of you visited our space in Green Futures and interacted with our pieces – sat/lay in the handchairs, chilled underneath the lemon tree, looked in at the domes and dwyns, stroked the mole, sat on Bobby and talked with the CR team about your ideas of extending the life of your rubbish. We don’t sell pieces at Glastonbury as our main purpose at the festival is to communicate, however some of you said you would like to buy or commission some pieces, we can be contacted at information@creativerecycling.org.uk to discuss further. We are also happy to provide general information on recycling and are happy to consider visiting other festivals and events over the summer. Anyway the CR team hopes you had a wonderful Glastonbury and looks forward to seeing you in 2013 and thank you for all the smiles that you can see in the various photo albums.
